Nobody eats
alone on
Fridays
SOJO YA is for ages 18 to 30 — college, working, single, married, still figuring it out. Fridays 6 to 8, and dinner together at 8.
Why this exists
The decade the
church loses people
Most people who leave church leave in this one — not because they decided against Jesus, but because nobody made a place for the version of them that just moved out, started a job, ended a relationship, or stopped being made to go.
So we made one. Friday nights are worship, real teaching, and honest conversation about the things this decade actually hands you — work, money, dating, loneliness, and what you believe now that it is entirely your call.
Then dinner at eight, every week. That part is not an add-on; it is half the point. Whatever else is true about your Friday, you are not eating it alone.
Know · GrowThis is where a lot of twenty-somethings find out the faith they inherited can actually be theirs — and find the people to build it with.

The details
Straight
answers
When and where
Fridays, 6:00–8:00pm at The Kettle Room at Gibson Mill, 325 McGill Ave NW, Suite 148, Concord, NC 28027. Dinner together at 8:00pm, on us.
Who it’s for
Ages 18–30. College students, people working full time, married couples, single people, and everyone still deciding what they are. You do not need to bring anybody or know anybody.
High school seniors
Second semester of senior year, you are welcome here — and you can keep Wednesdays at SOJO YTH as long as you want them. The overlap is on purpose: we would rather you have two rooms for a semester than none the following fall.
What a Friday looks like
Worship, teaching aimed at this decade of life, honest conversation, and a real dinner. Come for the whole thing or just come to the table at 8.
Cost
Free, dinner included. Bring a friend — this is the easiest thing at SOJO to invite somebody to.
Beyond Friday
This is a
launch pad
YA is not meant to be an island for your twenties. It is where you build the faith and the friendships you carry into everything after.
From here people join groups, lead SOJO Kids rooms, run cameras, go on mission trips, and show up early to set chairs. Purpose is not something YA graduates into later — it starts on a Friday.

Show up once. Worst case, you get dinner out of it.
