Next Gen · SOJO Kids · Birth – 5th Grade · Sundays 9 & 11am
Your kids are
the first thing
we think about
Safe, joyful, age-specific rooms during both services — so you can actually be present in yours.
KnowLong before your child can define any of this, she can know she is safe, loved, and wanted. That is where knowing Life starts.
Why parents relax here
Four promises
we keep
Every volunteer is background-checked
Screened, trained, and never alone with a child. No exceptions, no shortcuts, no “we've known them forever” workarounds.
Only you can pick them up
Secure electronic check-in gives you a matching tag. No tag, no child. It's the least romantic thing about Sunday and the part we're most rigid about.
They'll want to come back
Kids who like church make Sunday easier on everybody. Ours is loud in the right places and warm in all of them.
You get to worship
That's the point of all of it. Your kid is cared for, so you get 75 uninterrupted minutes with God and other adults.
The rooms
Built for
their age
Nursery · 0–24 months
Loving, attentive volunteers in a calm, secure room. Comfort, care, and prayer over your little one. A home away from home.
Preschool · 2–4 years
Hands-on activities, interactive Bible stories, worship and play — built to match their energy, curiosity, and growing independence.
Elementary · K–5th
High-energy worship, engaging teaching, and small groups where they build real friendships and start owning their own faith.
At Gibson Mill, our nursery is just off the café area to your left as you come through the main doors. Kids 4 and up meet in the main kids space next door to the worship room. For everyone's comfort, that environment is for fully potty-trained kids.

Goodhew
The heartbeat of SOJO Kids.
Jillian is relentless about one thing: that every child who walks through those doors feels known, loved, and excited to come back. She builds the environments, trains the leaders, and keeps the standard high — because your kids are worth it.

When they age out
It keeps going
to thirty
After 5th grade comes SOJO YTH — 6th through 12th grade, Wednesdays 6–8pm. After that, SOJO YA for ages 18 to 30, Fridays 6–8pm with dinner at 8.
The handoffs between environments are where most churches quietly lose people. We watch those on purpose.
