Grow

Nobody drifts
into growth

Trees do not grow because they try hard. They grow because they are planted in the right place. So do people.

GrowPeace with God first, then peace worked into you — slowly, on purpose, around tables, with people who know your name.

Our heart for you

Growth is fruit,
not effort

Here is what we believe about growing: it is less like a gym membership and more like an orchard.

You cannot white-knuckle your way into becoming more like Jesus. Fruit does not strain to grow — it grows because the tree is planted by water, rooted in good soil, and pruned by somebody who loves it. Scripture opens its songbook with exactly that picture: a person planted by streams of water, bearing fruit in season.

So at SOJO, we are not going to hand you a self-improvement plan. We are going to help you get planted — in the presence of God, at tables with His people — and let Him do what He has always done with planted things.

That said, getting planted is not an accident either. There is a path, and it is short.

The path

Four steps
into the soil

01

1 · Show up on Sundays

Not once — give us five. One Sunday tells you whether you like the music. Five tell you whether these are your people, and that is the part that changes anything.

2 · Come to Discover SOJO

Last Sunday of the month, right after second service. We feed you a good lunch, tell you who we are, and — this is the part we care about most — we ask who you are. There is a shirt in your size waiting.

3 · Take Discover More

A little teaching, a lot of discovering you — your story, your gifts, your heart — and where all of that fits in the life of this church.

4 · Get in a group

This is where planted happens. A table, a rhythm, and people with permission to ask you the hard question. Growth is impossible in a crowd and nearly inevitable at a table.

Find your group

And then it overflows — into serving, giving, and going. That is the whole design: you grow in peace so you can go in purpose.

Get planted

You do not have to do all four this month. You just have to take the next one.
