You were
Made for
more
You were made to know Life and have it abundantly, grow in peace with God and people, and go in your anointed purpose to help bring heaven to earth.
Our mission
Know life.
Grow in peace.
Go in purpose.
Three movements, and they run in that order. Everything we do fits under one of them — or we stop doing it.
Know life
Finding family. Finding community. And more than anything, finding Jesus among His people — and finding His plan for your life. Life is not an achievement you unlock; it is a Person you meet, and you almost never meet Him alone.
Grow in peace
Peace with God first, then peace worked into you — in a group, through personal study and prayer, with people who have permission to ask you the hard question. Slow, on purpose, and impossible in a crowd.
Go in purpose
What the first two look like when they overflow — into your home, your church, your work, your friends and neighbors. And through the church, into service and giving, where your money does what it could never do alone.
Two minutes
Meet SOJO
before you
walk in
Press play. It is the fastest way to find out whether this is your kind of church without giving up a Sunday to find out.
You will hear what we are about, see the people you would be sitting next to, and know what Sunday morning actually feels like before you ever park the car.
Where to go next
Four steps,
in order
1 · Come for the first time
Show up on a Sunday. That is the entire first step — no sign-up, no dressing up, no knowing anybody.

2 · Try 5
Five Sundays. Not to size up a stage — to meet the people. That is the part that actually changes anything.
Why five →
3 · Come to Discover SOJO
Last Sunday of every month, right after second service. A real meal, childcare, and every question you have got.
4 · Attend Discover More
A three-week virtual class on basic doctrine and discipleship. What we believe, and what following Jesus actually looks like.

The next chapter
We move
Sept 6
Same family. Same mission. A room twice the size, with space for the people who haven't walked in yet.

First four: renderings. Last: the actual room, August 2026.
First things first
We're glad
you're here
You don't have to dress up. You don't have to know anybody. You don't have to have your life figured out, your questions answered, or your past cleaned up.
SOJO started in Corey and Betsy Alley's living room in 2017 with a simple conviction: a church shouldn't exist for itself. If we closed our doors tomorrow, our city should miss us — not just the people who show up on Sunday.
Nine years in, that is still the whole thing. We are a community with a cause — and the cause is people. Helping them know life, grow in peace, and go in purpose.

Try five
Give us five
Sundays
Not to size up a stage. To meet the people.
One visit tells you whether you like the music. Five tells you whether these are your people — and that's the part that actually changes anything. Church is more than a moment on a stage. It's a community you grow into.
Our hope isn't that SOJO becomes a place you attend. It's that it becomes a place that feels like home.
